The Junior National Squad held their November camp in Mougins School last weekend. Sincere thanks to our hosts for taking such wonderful care of the squad and coaches - your help and support is appreciated. 🙌🏻 It’s was an exciting camp as selections were made for the Europe Netball U19s Competition occuring next month in Scotland. The goal of this program is to provide training and development for future stars of netball in France, in a higher-level environment that mirrors the demands of the Junior National Squad. ✨

Closing date for applications from junior athletes aged 8-20 years olds is 8th November 2024 at 17h. Successful applicants will be notified 10th November 2024. 📅�

A big congratulations to @netballparis Bastille, who went through the weekend undefeated 🔥

In all competitions one team gets to win the title of champions and so Netball France is extremely proud to announce that Netball Côte Basque Mendiak are the Ligue Nationale Champions for Season 2023/24🥇🎆

It’s #CDFDN24 Eve! 😍

A reminder as to how our Open competition will work this year, as we’re following a new look World Cup style structure! 🏆

Teams will start across 4 pools (A-D) in Group Stage A, where they will play everyone in their pool. The top 3 teams in each pool will then form pools F (top 3 teams from A & B) & G (top 3 teams from C & D), and the bottom team (or bottom 2 teams from pool D) will form pool E in Group Stage B. Teams will now play everyone in their new pool they haven’t already played - where they’ve already played a team in their pool, the results will carry forward. From here, it’s to semi finals and placing matches! The 1st team from F and 2nd team from G will meet in the semi finals, and vice versa, with the winners progressing to the Final (Gold medal match) and losers progressing to the 3rd/4th playoff (Bronze medal match). The 3rd team from F and the 4th team from G will meet in the 5th-8th semi final, and vice versa, with the winners progressing to the 5th/6th playoff and the losers progressing to the 7th/8th playoff. All other teams will progress to their placing matches as above in the graphic; except the bottom team in Pool E, which will automatically receive a placing of 17th.

National Squad trial registrations for both Open and Junior squads close TODAY 😱 if you haven’t already, head to the link in bio to register 😍

To be eligible, you must be a french citizen, be born in France, have a french parent or grandparent, OR have been living in France for at least 2 years.

If you are unavailable on the day of trials, please still fill out the registration form to potentially be offered the chance to trial at a later date.

We hope to see all eligible athletes registering to trial! 💪🏻💪🏿🦾

Netball France is proud to announce the Coaching and Management Team for Les Bleus, the Open National Squad, for the upcoming third season of the squad! 🎉

Asha Francis joins Netball France as Head Coach of our Open National Squad, with a wealth of coaching and playing experience at various levels from club to country, most recently as Head Coach and Netball Director of the former @netballsl team @teambathnetball_ 💙💛

Francesca Plom transitions from Head Coach to Assistant Coach, reflecting her commitment to the sport and her desire to continue contributing to the team’s success. Fran’s knowledge as a coach and of the French system, on top of her dedication to Les Bleus, makes her an invaluable asset to this team and program 🔥

Jayne Abbott retains her role as Team Manager, and is joined by newcomer Gaby Bell as Co-Team Managers. Jayne’s expertise having held the role for the past two seasons, combined with Gaby’s experience working with the Australian Olympic & Paralympic delegations, will compliment each other nicely and deliver a well coordinated program alongside our coaches 😍

Netball France would like to welcome and congratulate the Open National Squad Coaching and Management Team on their appointments for the 2024/2025 season, and would also like to take this moment to thank outgoing Assistant Coach, Jodi Thomas, for her passion and expertise, and hope her decision to reduce travel brings the rewards she deserves. We look forward to building on the successes Les Bleus have already achieved, and continuing to create the Les Bleus legacy – ALLEZ LES BLEUS 🇫🇷
